Man dies following collision on Crook Road, Windermere

A man has died following a collision on Saturday 4th March 2017.
Emergency services were called to the Crook Road, outside the Gilpin Hotel, at approximately 4 pm to a one vehicle road traffic collision. The collision involved a blue Jaguar X-Type. The driver was taken to hospital following the collision and died yesterday (Thursday 9th).
He has been formally identified as Allan Lofthouse, aged 61, from Claughton Drive, Lancaster.
Witnesses are requested to contact PC 2210 EDMONDSON of the South Mobile Support Group on 101.
