Tuesday will have a frosty and foggy start, followed by sunny spells and showers. Wednesday and Thursday will turn windier and cloudier with outbreaks of rain, which could be heavy.
A northwest/southeast split is expected late next week with unsettled conditions in the northwest and drier conditions further southeast. Next weekend becomes increasingly uncertain, but unsettled and perhaps very windy conditions could extend across much of the UK.
