After a sunny start for many, some patchy cloud will soon begin to develop, bringing spells of sunshine thereafter. Thicker cloud will begin to move into the north during the late afternoon. Feeling warm in the sunshine and light winds. Maximum Temperature 21C.

Thursday looks wet and breezy, with temperatures struggling. Friday appears calmer with sunny spells returning. Saturday currently looks like a day of very heavy showers, interspersed with sunny spells.

Generally unsettled next weekend. Cloud, outbreaks of rain and breezy conditions will push in from the west throughout Saturday, spreading to most areas of the UK by the afternoon. Cloud may break up to bring some sunshine later in the day, though there is the risk of some heavy, possibly thundery downpours developing too. A similar picture seems likely for Sunday and the beginning of next week. Further spells of rain and stronger winds are expected, primarily in the north and northwest with the best of any drier weather further south. More settled weather is possible towards the end of July, especially across the south, though unseasonably wet and windy conditions are likely to return from the northwest. Temperatures around average, with any warm spells most likely in the south.
