Vietnamese boy found stuffed in suitcase at Port of Dover

A Vietnamese boy has been found stuffed in a suitcase in the boot of a car at the Port of Dover.
Andrei Iancu, 20, has been charged with attempted people smuggling after the discovery was made at roughly 8.30pm on Wednesday.
The boy, believed to be 16, was taken to hospital and was initially described as being in a life-threatening condition.
His condition has since improved, according to Kent Police.
The youngster, who has not been named, was discovered by UK Border Force officials, who searched a car which had arrived in the UK from France.
Iancu, from Buzau, Romania, is in custody and was due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
