POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a man died in Fleetwood. Officers were called at about 1.20am today (Sunday, December 9th) to reports of a stabbing on Broomfield Road in the town. Sadly a 31 year old man died at the scene. An investigation is underway.

Cumbria Police can confirm that the body of a male was found on Saturday morning (8th December) in Canal Street, Ulverston. Officers were called at 10.11am after the body was discovered in a canal.
