POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a man died in Fleetwood. Officers were called at about 1.20am today (Sunday, December 9th) to reports of a stabbing on Broomfield Road in the town. Sadly a 31 year old man died at the scene. An investigation is underway.

Two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore were called to a fire involving a camper van on Talbot Road, Blackpool. Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
