Simon Cowell ‘taken to hospital in neck brace’ after falling down stairs

Simon Cowell has been taken to hospital after falling down the stairs, according to a source close to him.
The X Factor judge is understood to have fainted and fallen down the stairs of his London home after going to get a cup of hot milk on Friday morning.
The Sun newspaper reported he was stretchered out of his home and taken to hospital by ambulance at around 8am.
It is not known whether his girlfriend Laura Silverman and their son Eric were at home when the accident happened.
A source told the newspaper it was a "scary morning", adding that Cowell "fainted and is thought to have fallen down the stairs".
He is due to start the first live show on the X Factor on Saturday evening.
