Roger Waters to perform at next year’s British Summer Time festival

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters is going to perform at London’s British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park next year.
The 74-year-old rock legend is the first headline act to be announced by organisers.
He has currently been promoting his latest album Is This The Life We Really Want – and performing shows across the US and Canada.
Waters’ tour has been called Us + Them, and it showcases highlights from his classic body of work – including Wish You Were Here, Animals and Dark Side Of The Moon.
His BST show will take place halfway through the European leg of Us + Them.
It will be the first time he has toured in Europe since The Wall Live in 2010.
James King, the senior vice president of AEG Live, said: "Roger Waters consistently delivers the most exciting live experience I’ve ever seen.
"His legendary set from Desert Trip set new standards in production that to this day stand unsurpassed.
"To see his live show on The Great Oak Stage providing a soundtrack of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits will be a spectacle not to be missed."
London’s BST festival started in 2013 and has since attracted some of the biggest names in music, including the Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
It usually takes place during the first two weekends of July.
