Rebekah Vardy says she suffered from “severe anxiety attacks” and was taken to hospital three times following her public fall-out with Coleen Rooney.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy broke down in tears on ITV’s Loose Women as she explained how she was trolled online by members of the public.
“It was really, really hard, it’s probably up there with one of the worst things I’ve had to deal with, apart from being abused by my stepdad when I was younger,” she said.
The pair fell out when Rooney, who is married to footballer Wayne Rooney, accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories about her to The Sun newspaper.
Vardy, who was seven months pregnant at the time, said she had cried after reading one comment online.
“I had people messaging me saying nasty stuff, one in particular said, ‘You fat ugly rat, I genuinely hope you and your baby rot,'” she said.
She added: “I had severe anxiety attacks. I ended up in hospital three times, and I ended up with kidney stones.
“I felt like I couldn’t go out, I had people just looking at me just questioning, ‘did she do it? did she not do it?'”
In a social media post which quickly went viral and captured the attention of news organisations around the world, Rooney described how she had “caught” the person responsible for passing on information.
She claimed she had set the privacy settings of her Instagram stories so the posts were only visible to one account – Rebekah Vardy’s.
Rooney said she had made up a number of fake stories, including that she had been considering gender selection in order to have a baby girl, and the fake stories later appeared in the press.
Vardy has consistently denied any involvement.

Writing on Instagram shortly afterwards, Vardy said: “As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this.
“I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for. If you thought this was happening you could have told me and I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.”
She also said “various people” had access to her Instagram account.
