Police hunt killer after man shot dead in southeast London

Police are hunting a killer after a man in his 20s was shot dead in southeast London earlier this afternoon.
Officers were called to reports of suspicious activity on Sydenham Road at around 3.45pm, Metropolitan Police said.
When gunshots were later heard, armed officers and the London Ambulance Service were also called.
The man died at 3.50pm.
Police are hunting the killer and remain at the scene.
