Overnight M55 closures for new junction work

Drivers using the M55 in Lancashire are being advised of a series of full overnight carriageway closures this week as work continues to complete the new junction 2.
Both the westbound and eastbound carriageways between junction 1 at Broughton and junction 3 at Wesham will be closed every night this week beginning tonight (Monday 24 April) and up to and including Friday night (28 April). The work will include installing hard and electronic signs on gantries, central reservation installation, remedial surfacing and road markings. As usual closures will be overnight between 9pm and 5am.
Clearly-signed diversions will operate between junction 1 and junction 3.
