Noel Gallagher’s former house Supernova Heights goes up for sale

Written by on 13/06/2018

Supernova Heights – the former house of ex-Oasis star Noel Gallagher and current home of comedian David Walliams – is up for sale.

The five-storey Victorian pad became infamous in the 1990s for the raucous parties regularly held at the well-heeled Belsize Park address, in London’s NW3 postcode.

It was named after Champagne Supernova, the final track on Oasis’ record breaking No.1 hit album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory, which earned the band millions of pounds.

The house was a destination for Oasis fans who were often seen milling around in the hope of catching a glimpse of one of the Gallagher brothers.

A neighbour at the time told The Guardian newspaper about a gathering during which a “drunken” Liam Gallagher was spotted “walking around, swearing at anyone who passed him in the street”.

Noel and his then-wife Meg Mathews relocated to Buckinghamshire in 1999, selling the house to David Beckham’s best friend Dave Gardner and his then-wife, Hollyoaks actress Davinia Murphy.

In 2005, Walliams bought the property for £3m, re-arranging the interior from a four-bed house to a three-bed and knocking out some floors and ceilings.

Now on the market for £5,350,000, Supernova Heights boasts double and triple-height rooms, mezzanine floors, three opulent bedrooms and a massive open-plan bathroom with a cast stone bath.

Neighbours have in the past included actress Sadie Frost and movie star Bob Hoskins.

Marcus Parfitt, which is selling the property, describes it as “an exceptional architectural masterpiece… finished to the highest of standards with use of the finest materials, fixtures and fittings throughout”.
