Nicki Minaj has denied insulting the parenting skills of rival rapper Cardi B after an alleged fracas at a New York Fashion Week party.

The stars were reportedly embroiled in a vicious altercation at the Harpers Bazaar event last week, after which Cardi B posted on Instagram to accuse Minaj of making disparaging remarks about her ability as a mother.

Cardi B – real name Belcalis Almanzar – gave birth to daughter Kulture in July.

Addressing the accusation for the first time on her Queen Radio show, Minaj – real name Onika Tanya – said she would “never talk about anyone’s child or parenting”.

“I don’t care about anyone’s parenting – I don’t give a s*** and it’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy,” bemoaned the 35-year-old.

“I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj would never, has never and will never speak ill of anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown s***.”

Minaj – who is said to have had bad blood with Cardi B since 2017 – added that she was left “mortified” after footage of the alleged scuffle circulated online.

She described the incident as “disgusting commotion” and “so humiliating”.

According to TMZ, the scrap began with Cardi B lunging towards Minaj and ended with the 25-year-old throwing a shoe towards her and her entourage.

But sources close to the Bodak Yellow rapper told the website the artist was not looking for a fight and that she only wanted to address “lies” that were allegedly being spread about her.
