Nathan Hughes has been called up for England’s tour of South Africa, but Ben Te’o has been ruled out.
Head coach Eddie Jones has made three changes to his original 34-man squad, with Te’o sidelined due to a quad injury.
Sale Sharks back Cameron Redpath and flanker Jack Willis both have knee injuries and are also withdrawn, with Gloucester’s uncapped full-back Jason Woodward and Northampton back Pier Francis called up as replacements.
Hughes returned to the England side for their 63-45 defeat to the Barbarians on Sunday having made a comeback from a knee injury sustained in the Six Nations.
Hughes’ Wasps team-mate Willis missed the loss at Twickenham at the weekend after hyper-extending his knee during their Premiership semi-final defeat at Saracens.
England will fly to South Africa on Saturday for a three Test series. They begin against the Springboks in Johannesburg on June 9, before travelling to Bloemfontein on June 16 and Cape Town on June 23.
