Murder investigation as three die in Hemel Hempstead house fire

Police have launched a murder investigation after three people were killed in a house fire.
Two women, aged 50 and 24, and a 57-year-old man were killed in the blaze at an address on Stuarts Close in Hemel Hempstead.
Police were called to the address shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday.
None of the three, who were all pronounced dead at the scene, have yet to be formally identified.
Hertfordshire Police have launched a murder investigation into the fire in conjunction with the fire service.
The police force have described the incident as “isolated” and the said inquiries have so far led them to believe there is no threat to the wider community.
“Our thoughts are with those who have been impacted by this incident,” Detective Inspector Iain MacPherson said in a statement.
“We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and forensic officers and the fire investigation team remain at the location as part of this.”
