Police are investigating three more sheep deaths in the New Forest after a number of animal attacks with apparent links to the occult.
The dead animals were found in Wittensford Lane, Cadnam, and Penn Common Road, Bramshaw, between 16 and 20 January.
Two of the sheep had suffered puncture wounds.
The deaths follow the discovery of a ewe in Kewlake Lane, Cadnam, on 2 January.
The animal had been stabbed to death with a cross made of hay and a broken pitchfork placed next to it.
A sheep and two cows were also attacked and Satanic symbols painted on the door of St Peter’s Church in Bramshaw in November.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: “We are investigating following reports of three sheep deaths in the New Forest.
“As part of their enquiries, officers will look to see if there are any links between these sheep deaths, and with any other similar incidents in the New Forest.
“Targeted patrols of areas in the New Forest will continue.”
