Missing British scientist Natalie Christopher found dead in 65ft ravine on Greek island

The body of a British woman missing on the Greek island of Ikaria has been found in a ravine.
Astrophysicist Natalie Christopher had been missing since Monday morning after she failed to return from a run.
In a brief statement, Greek police confirmed that a body found in a 20m (65ft) deep ravine belonged to the 35-year-old.
It was found by a volunteer assisting in the search.
The cause of death has not yet been established.
Ms Christopher, who was from London but lived in Nicosia in Cyprus, was on holiday with her Cypriot partner at the time of her disappearance.
Her partner was the person to raise the alarm.
The potential route Ms Christopher is believed to have taken during her run on Monday is said to involve paths running adjacent to steep ravines and cliff edges.
Earlier on Wednesday, police deployed specialist geolocating equipment to help with the multi-agency search, involving police officers, firefighters, the coastguard and dozens of volunteers.
The new unit, boasting state-of-the-art technology, arrived via military helicopter, with the focus being directed toward rugged areas of terrain.
An avid sports enthusiast, Ms Christopher was also known for her activism in promoting peace in ethnically split Cyprus, and for greater representation of women scientists in male-dominated fields.
