Jamie Redknapp sat down with Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen in a Match Zone special for an in-depth look at the Dane’s traits.
Ahead of Tottenham’s clash against Liverpool on Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports Premier League from 3.30pm, Redknapp brings Eriksen into the Nissan Match Zone booth to dissect everything from his technique to his spatial awareness.
Eriksen speaks about the importance of knowing what is around you in order to get assists, while Jamie compares some of the Denmark international’s free-kicks to David Beckham’s as they run through his best set pieces since moving to the Premier League in 2013.
Eriksen signed from Ajax that summer, and has been a key player for Spurs since, scoring 45 goals and registering an impressive 60 assists in just over four seasons.
The pair also discuss Tottenham’s aims for this campaign, after a solid start to the Premier League season.
Fresh from their 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid, Spurs go into Super Sunday in third place, four points above Liverpool in eighth.
