Manhunt after six women attacked in South Norwood Country Park

Police are searching for a man after six women were attacked in separate incidents at a park in south London.
The victims were sexually assaulted during four of the six incidents, which all took place in daylight on weekdays in South Norwood Country Park between 3 May and 21 June.
Detectives have described the suspect – who also stole or attempted to steal mobile phones from four of the victims – as black, aged between 16 and 25, tall, thin, and with dark hair.
Each of the victims – aged from their early 30s to mid-60s – were walking or jogging alone at the time, and five of them had dogs with them.
Officers are treating the attacks – which each happened between 10.50am and 4.30pm – as linked.

- 20 June – 3.05pm, sexual assault and theft of phone

- 21 June – 3pm, theft of phone, no sexual assault
Detective Sergeant Matt Loftus, who is leading the investigation into the attacks, said: “We are working hard to identify the suspect in this case and are appealing for anyone who might have seen or heard anything to speak to us, however insignificant they think the information may be.
“We would advise park users to be vigilant and will be providing additional patrols in the area.”
