Man wearing rubber suit terrorises villagers in Somerset

A “terrifying” man wearing a rubber suit has reportedly been terrorising villagers and “grunting and touching his genitals” in Somerset.
Police in Claverham said they received 14 reports about a man “approaching people while wearing disguises, one of which was a black body suit”.
A woman in her 20s said a man “charged” at her in “a full black rubbery suit”.
The unnamed woman told the BBC: “He kept coming towards me and was touching his groin, grunting and breathing heavy.
“As I tried to take a step back he was right in front of my face and he put his leg forward. I was just trying to assess the situation in my head quickly.
“Everything was running through my head. I thought: ‘This is it, I’m going to get attacked’.”
The man fled the scene and ran towards the main road when she starting screaming.
Police were called to the scene at around 11.30pm and a search helicopter was dispatched as well as a police sniffer dog, but officers were unable to trace the suspect.
However, a man in his 20s was later arrested on suspicion of indecency.
“The man is currently in custody and inquiries into the series are ongoing,” police said.
