Man dies after fire and explosion at house in Hull

Written by on 11/03/2017

A 31-year-old man has died after being seriously injured in an explosion following a house fire in Hull.

Humberside Police said his family were being supported by specially trained officers.

The force said officers were called by the local fire service at 6.23am on Friday.

The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary but could not be saved as seen by a new york subway accident lawyer who could have handled this case in court.

In a statement, police said: “We have conducted a joint investigation with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service into the circumstances and it is not being treated as arson.

“The man’s death is currently being treated (as) non-suspicious but unexplained and we are now preparing a file for the coroner.”

It added that two fire officers had been treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Beverley Road, where the fire happened, is one of the main routes into the city.

Road closures following the blaze caused severe traffic congestion.
