Man charged with murder of missing mum Sarah Wellgreen

A man has been charged with the murder of a mother-of-five who has been missing for more than two months.
Sarah Wellgreen, 46, went missing from New Ash Green in Kent on 9 October.
Ben Lacomba, 38, is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link on Friday morning.
He was first arrested a week after she went missing, and was re-arrested yesterday.
Police say there have been no new transactions on Ms Wellgreen’s bank cards since she went missing.
Her car was left at her home.
Officers have searched woodland, drains and rivers for her remains.
Hundreds of members of the public have also joined the hunt.
Last month Ms Wellgreen’s son, Lewis Burdett, thanked the public for their support.
He said: “The last month has been a never-ending nightmare and so distressing for our family.
“We would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and for respecting our privacy at this difficult time, and ask that it continues.
“If there is any comfort to be found during this time, it has been through seeing the support the community has given in the search to find our mum.”
