Man charged with multiple shoplifting offences in South Lakes

A man from Scunthorpe has been charged with 13 shoplifting offences committed in the South Lakes area and Keswick.
Catalin Serban, 41 of Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe was charged with 13 counts of theft.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between January 2023 and January 2024.
Serban is due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court Wednesday (21 February 2024).
