Man, 18, stabbed to death in Woolwich, southeast London

An 18-year-old man has been stabbed to death in southeast London.
Police were called shortly before 3.30am on Sunday to Academy Road, at the junction with Shooters Hill, in Woolwich, to reports of a man with stab injuries.
The emergency services found the victim, believed to be aged 18, in the Woolwich Common area.
Officers believe they know the identity of the victim and have informed next of kin.
The specialist crime command have been informed and urgent enquiries are under way to establish what happened.
A crime scene and road closures are in place.
