Police release CCTV footage in Windermere assault investigation

Following an ongoing investigation into the report of a serious assault police are releasing the following CCTV footage. The incident occurred at approximately 5.20pm yesterday (December 16), opposite the visitor centre at the junction between Glebe Road and the Promenade, Windermere.
A 69-year-old male from Sunderland is currently in a critical but stable condition at the Royal Preston Hospital after being punched.
Police would like to speak with the persons pictured as part of their investigations.
