Police appealing for witnesses following collision on Singleton Park Road, Kendal

Police are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision at 10:45pm yesterday (May 26).
A black Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision on the A684 Singleton Park Road just outside Kendal.
Four occupants from the vehicle were provided with emergency medical treatment at the scene. Three were taken to Preston hospital for further treatment. Sadly a 27-year-old woman from the Kendal area died as a result of her injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the route of the vehicle prior to the collision and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicle which is believed to have left Kendal town centre prior to the collision.
