Detectives investigating attempted robbery in Kendal

Detectives are investigating an attempted robbery at Rinkfield Post Office on Burton Road, Kendal that occurred at around 8am this morning.
It is reported two men, described as wearing dark clothing and black masks have attempted to take an item from a woman. The woman suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
The men left the area in a Silver Volkswagen Bora.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
