Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred on Monday 1st October at approximately 1pm at the Kirkbie Kendal school roundabout.

A collision occurred between a pedal cycle and a Kia Sportage resulting in the cyclist suffering minor injuries.

Anybody with information or who witnessed this incident should contact police quoting log 169 of 1stOctober 2018.

Bowness-on-windermere

Police are investigating an incident at the Hill of Oaks Caravan Site on the A592 near Bowness-on-Windermere at around 1:30pm on 31st August 2018 during which two men have made off from a taxi without settling their fare.

Both offenders are described as clean-shaven and white with one being approximately six feet tall, wearing a white t-shirt and long blue jeans. The second man is described as slightly shorter, but average height and was also wearing blue jeans but with a blue t-shirt. Both wore their dark hair short.

Anyone with information which may assist Police with their enquiries is asked to call 101 and quote log 304 from 31st August 2018. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
