Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred on Monday 1^st October at approximately 1pm at the Kirkbie Kendal school roundabout.

A collision occurred between a pedal cycle and a Kia Sportage resulting in the cyclist suffering minor injuries.

Anybody with information or who witnessed this incident should contact police quoting log 169 of 1^stOctober 2018.

Bowness-on-windermere

Police are investigating an incident at the Hill of Oaks Caravan Site on the A592 near Bowness-on-Windermere at around 1:30pm on 31st August 2018 during which two men have made off from a taxi without settling their fare.

Both offenders are described as clean-shaven and white with one being approximately six feet tall, wearing a white t-shirt and long blue jeans. The second man is described as slightly shorter, but average height and was also wearing blue jeans but with a blue t-shirt. Both wore their dark hair short.
