Further events in April include gatherings by the Mersey Mini Club on April 3rd, the Lotus Drivers Club on April 10th and on Sunday April 24th it’s the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club’s Drive It Day.

All these events offer an added attraction to the already extensive collection of vehicles and auto memorabilia inside the museum itself.

As the year progresses there’ll be further club gatherings – and not just cars. May 22nd sees the ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity motorcycle event between 10.30am and 4pm.

Other events through the summer include gatherings by the Lotus Drivers Club, Citroen Traction Avant Owner’s Club, Vauxhall VX220 and Toyota MR2 clubs.

At the Classic Drive and Ride in Days a prestigious trophy is up for grabs for the most impressive classic vehicle on display. Those Ride in Days are open to owners of classic cars, trucks, vans and motorbikes, as well as more recent hot hatches, superminis and high-performance sports cars. There is no need to book.

You don’t have to own a classic vehicle to attend, just simply pop along and join in the fun.
