Coun Darren Clifford, Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism and leisure, said:  “Morecambe’s Happy Mount Park provides a perfect setting for our programme of free band concerts which have been entertaining audiences since the 1970s. While the weekly performances are a major attraction in the park, families can also enjoy the splash park, crazy golf course and adventure playground making it a fantastic day out for all the family.”

Seating is not provided, but members of the public may wish to take along their own picnic style chair or hire a deck chair at the park. In the case of poor weather, performances will where possible take place in the café.
