A590 Cross-a-Moor Cumbria update

The A590 Ulverston Road and Main Road junction, National Highways plan to delivery a highway improvement project which is called A590 Cross-a-Moor.
The scheme will entail constructing a new roundabout.
They will also build brand new link roads, which will connect into the existing local road network.
As part of the scheme they will also carry out environmental improvements and put in measures to alleviate flooding in the area.

While the scheme is being delivered by National Highways, this is a collaborative venture between ourselves and Cumbria County Council, South Lakes District Council and Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership.
