Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk could miss Leicester match through illness

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is a doubt for Wednesday’s match against Leicester due to illness.
Van Dijk has not trained fully since returning from the club’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
His potential absence could come as a major blow to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who already has limited options in defence.
Klopp said: “Virgil [Van Dijk] was a little bit ill but he trained yesterday so we will see.
“He will train today and we will see. Dejan [Lovren] is fine. Gini [Wijnaldum] trained. Fabinho will train today.
“Trent [Alexander-Arnold] is getting closer and closer, it looks all very positive but he will not be ready for tomorrow.”
Joe Gomez is also still a number of weeks away from a return as he continues his recovery from a lower leg fracture.
James Milner, meanwhile, is suspended after being sent off in the 4-3 win over Crystal Palace, while Joel Matip has played just one game since returning from a fractured collarbone.
Liverpool are also unable to call on Nathaniel Clyne after loaning the England international to Bournemouth earlier this month.
Klopp added: “You will have to wait until tomorrow. We will play with a right back. Or maybe a wing-back. I don’t know! I have no clue what we are doing to be honest.”
