Liam Gallagher sorry for ‘childish behaviour’ after Twitter spat with Noel
Written by News on 04/07/2019
Liam and Noel Gallagher have had a turbulent relationship over the years – so one of them making an apology is a rare occurrence.

The latest conflict between the two began with a comment made by Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald about Liam, who was performing at Glastonbury last weekend.
She had written on Instagram about her estranged brother-in-law in less-than-glowing terms.
On Wednesday, Noel – who usually stays quiet when it comes to his brother – posted a screenshot of a WhatsApp message allegedly sent by “Uncle Liam” to his 19-year-old daughter Anais.
The message said: “Tell your step Mam to be very careful.”
In a post addressed to Liam, Noel accused his brother of sending “threatening messages” – adding: “If I wake up to find one of the kids gerbils upside down on the cheese board with a knife in it I’ll be sure to inform the local care in the community officer.
“And don’t try and kidnap the cat either – we’ve just employed Ross Kemp as his close protection officer.”
He signed saying: “Enjoy the summer, Big T**s, catch up soon.”
A few hours later, Liam responded on Twitter – but rather than retaliating, in a rather uncharacteristic move he apologised to his niece, and also to his mum.

He wrote: “My sincere apologies to my beautiful mum Peggy and my lovely niece Anais for getting caught up in all of this childish behaviour. I love you both dearly. LG x.”
The two brothers were in the band Oasis but their fighting eventually ended their days of playing music together.
Towards the end of the band’s run, they were no longer talking to each other and they were travelling separately to concerts.
Although Liam’s apology amounts to a big gesture, it might not be enough to bring on an Oasis reunion.
