Katy Perry pregnant: Singer expecting first child with Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry has revealed that she is pregnant.
The US singer showed off a baby bump at the end of the music video for her new single, Never Worn White.
This will be her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom, who she has reportedly been dating since 2016. The pair got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year.
Perry, dressed in a white dress, sings in her new single: “See us in 60 years with a full family tree.”
The music video ends with a side-on shot of the 35-year-old cradling a baby bump.
She also appears in a floral outfit in the video – akin to Beyonce’s pregnancy announcement and first social media post of her twins Sir Carter and Rumi.
Bloom, 43, was previously married to Australian model Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and they share a son, Flynn.
Perry was married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, and wore a grey wedding gown.
In an Instagram post, Perry wrote: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer.”
In live footage after the music video was released, Perry also revealed she will be releasing a new album soon, saying: “Let’s call it a double-whammy”.
She said: “I am excited, we’re excited, and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep.”
Her latest single, a romantic ballad, appears to have been inspired by her relationship with British actor Bloom and she said it was penned in Santa Barbara. The intro of the track is from Felix Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.
“It’s a super vulnerable song for me to put out there,” the pop star said.
“It’s very honest, it’s about surrendering to love and all that you go through when you’re about to commit to someone.”
Alluding to her first marriage, she added: “The truth is I have never worn white,” she said. “Because the time before this, 10 years ago, I wore dove grey. So let’s just say it’ll be my first time wearing white.”
