A new show launches this week on Bay Trust Radio as Preston DJ Jason Marx presents The Funk Foundation.
The show launches as part of the station’s Saturday Night schedule and and follows on from Saturday Night Anthems with Luke Abbass at midnight.
Jason will select 60 minutes of choice cuts every week from across the decades, featuring songs from all the roots and branches of funk. He says “It doesn’t matter if its Blues, Breakbeat, Soul, Disco, Funk, House, Hip Hop, Rare Groove or G-Funk. If it is Funky it will get a play!”
Jason has been DJing across the North West, as well as around European holiday resorts, for more than ten years and is looking forwarded to hand-picking the best songs from across the decades every Saturday night.
