Jack Nowell to miss England vs Australia with hamstring injury

England wing Jack Nowell is expected to miss the final autumn international against Australia after suffering a hamstring injury in training, Sky sources understand.
Nowell did not train with his team-mates on Wednesday and is set to miss Saturday’s Test against the Wallabies, live on Sky Sports Main Event.
The injury to Nowell means Eddie Jones is likely to hand Joe Cokanasiga his second start in consecutive weeks.
The 21-year-old Bath wing scored on debut for England in the 35-15 win over Japan last weekend.
England are already without Chris Ashton, who was ruled out of the Australia Test with a calf injury, while Manu Tuilagi remains a doubt with a groin injury and will face a late fitness test ahead of the match.
Tuilagi has not featured in the autumn series to date but England team-mate Brad Shields says the Leicester centre is upbeat despite his injury troubles.
“I’ve got to know him a little bit playing pool lately and he always seems to be in good spirits,” Shields told Sky Sports News.
“He will want to be playing and he must be gutted [to have been ruled out so far this autumn] but he is always upbeat and doesn’t let it show.
“He’s been held back a bit by injury but he’ll be fresh and ready to go, so who wouldn’t want him in their squad?
“He’s quick and he’s powerful but the medics are obviously managing him with his workload and when he gets his hands on the ball, even in training, he looks pretty dangerous.”
