Girl, 10, dies after being hit by ambulance before Christmas

A 10-year-old girl who was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by an ambulance has died, police have said.
The ambulance was on an emergency call when it hit the girl, who was walking along a road in Bulwell, Nottinghamshire on the Sunday before Christmas.
Nottinghamshire Police offered their condolences to the family of the girl, who has not been named.
The collision is being investigated and officers have asked any witnesses and anyone who may have dashcam footage or information to call police on 101, quoting incident number 650 of 22 December.
