Valid From: 2024-06-12T00:00Z – (Today) – Lake District

Forecast: Dry but some high cloud at first. Further cloud bubbling up through the morning to leave a partly cloudy but mostly dry afternoon, the best chance of sunny spells towards the west. Cloudier towards southern or southeaster Fells with the chance of the odd light shower, becoming clearer through the evening. Feeling chilly in the morning in northerly winds.

Cloud Free Hill Top: 80% or higher. The highest chances in the west.

Visibility: Cloudy but staying mostly above 1000m and good visibilities. Some patchy cloud down to 800m in the southeast which may bring a light shower.

Forecast: Dry but chilly Thursday morning with some early brightness. Gradually clouding over through the late morning, ahead of rain arriving later. Strengthening south to southeasterly winds.

Wind: South to southeasterly, 10-15mph rising to 25mph by evening, with gusts 35-40mph.

Cloud Free Hill Top:  More than 90% in the early morning, falling to 30% or less through the afternoon, the best chances in the north.

Visibility: Mostly clear tops in the morning with only a few patches of cloud around 1000m. Cloud thickening, becoming more widespread, and falling down to 400-600m through the afternoon, though Northern Fells being afforded a degree of shelter. Visibilities falling poor in rain or drizzle.
