Expert advice offered to businesses

Visitor-focused businesses in Sedbergh and Dent are being offered free expert advice on how to better promote themselves and spread the word about what they have to offer.
The free Sedbergh & Dent Business Engagement Event has been organised by Cumbria Tourism in partnership with South Lakeland District Council.
The event is open to all businesses in the Sedbergh and Dent area. However, anybody joining up as a member of Cumbria Tourism will receive £100 of extra marketing or business support.
The event at the People’s Hall in Howgill Lane, Sedbergh, from 11am to 12.30pm on Thursday December 6 will take the form of a short presentation followed by one-to-one discussions about how Cumbria Tourism can help promote businesses.
