Ed Westwick drama planned for Christmas shelved amid investigation

The BBC is shelving a Christmas drama starring Ed Westwick while rape allegations against him are being investigated.
The former Gossip Girl star is in an Agatha Christie adaptation, due to be shown on Boxing Day on BBC One.
But the corporation said it will suspend the planned showing and not list it in the wake of rape allegations made about Mr Westwick, which he denies.
Filming on his BBC Two show White Gold has also stopped.
The BBC said in a statement: "These are serious allegations which Ed Westwick has strenuously denied. The BBC is not making any judgment but until these matters are resolved we will not include Ordeal By Innocence in the schedules.
"The independent production company making White Gold has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations."
On social media, Mr Westwick denied the rape allegations.
The first allegation came from Kristina Cohen, who claimed she woke up abruptly while sleeping in the actor’s guest room, with him on top of her.
He denied it, saying he did not know her.

The second allegation came from Aurélie Wynn, who said it happened in an apartment in Los Angeles in 2014.
She claimed he pinned her down after she refused to have sex with him.
Mr Westwick denied this second allegation as well. Police in Los Angeles are investigating both claims.
