The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going on their first family tour with baby Archie later this year.
The couple confirmed the upcoming South Africa visit, which will likely be one of Meghan’s first international trips since giving birth, in a post to Instagram on Thursday.
It said: “The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond.
“This will be their first official tour as a family!”
It will also be Archie’s first official royal tour since being born in May.
During the trip, Prince Harry will also visit Malawi and Angola at the request of the Foreign Office, and will conduct a short working visit to Botswana.
The exact dates of the tour have not yet been confirmed, but the couple say it is being planned for the autumn.
Both Harry and his brother Prince William are involved in efforts to protect wildlife across Africa, while Harry is also patron to a children’s charity in Lesotho.
