Cumbria Police Local Appeals Monday 10th September

Police are appealing for witnesses to a Racially Aggravated Public Order offence that occurred in a children’s play area at Abbot Hall Public Park on Thursday 6th September at 4pm, in which a woman was verbally abused and threatened by another woman.

Anyone who has information about this incident can contact Cumbria Police quoting incident number 169 of 6th September 2018.

Burton – In – Kendal and Heversham
Police are investigating burglaries that occurred overnight between the 8th & 9th September of 3 dwellings.

One burglary occurred in Burton-in –Kendal in which a red Ford Focus registration number ST18 ULN was stolen, also stolen was personal documents and jewellery. Another 2 burglaries occurred on woodhouse Lane, Heversham in which a white Audi A1 registration number PYK15 AWK as well as jewellery.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity during that period or seen these vehicles, possibly in convoy.

Police would like to reiterate crime safety advice that unattended properties should be left secure and measures taken so that they appear inhabited. If anyone would like advice please contact Cumbria Police and ask for Crime Prevention Officers.
