Bowness-on-Windermere
Police are investigating the suspected theft of a dog from a residential property near Tower Wood just outside Bowness-On-Windermere.
It is reported that between 9.50am and 10.30am on 3 July 2018 the owner of this dog has reported that an elderly Cairns Terrier has gone missing, suspected of having been taken from the garden. The dog is grey and black and has a black head.

Windermere
Police are currently investigating a fail to stop collision which occurred on Park Road in Windermere, sometime around 12.30am on 3 July 2018.
An unknown vehicle collided with a parked car and left the scene without stopping. Residents have reported hearing a loud noise but there are no further details at this time.
It is believed that the offending vehicle’s wing mirror was detached and left on Park Road at the time.
