Body found in shallow grave in London garden after hunt for missing woman

A murder investigation is under way after a woman’s body was found in a shallow grave in a garden in Kew, southwest London.
Laureline Garcia-Bertaux, 34, from nearby Richmond, was reported missing after she did not turn up for work on Monday, according to the Metropolitan Police.
On Wednesday evening, officers found a body in a shallow grave in a garden in Darell Road, Kew.
A forensic crime scene is now in place.
Scotland Yard said Ms Garcia-Bertaux’s family have been told of the discovery.
There have been no arrests and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
