Aston Villa promoted to the Premier League after play-off win

West Midlands club Aston Villa have been promoted to football’s Premier League after beating Derby County 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
They join Norwich City and Sheffield United, who secured automatic promotion to the league.
Often referred to as “the richest game in football”, Aston Villa will pocket around £170m following their win at Wembley.
John McGinn and Anwar El Ghazi scored for Villa at the showdown in London.
Jack Marriott scored for Derby County in the 82nd minute.
