A search is under way for a British man who has gone missing in the Australian bush.
Police believe the 25-year-old may be disorientated after hitting his head prior to his disappearance.
Aslan King had been camping with friends near Princetown, Victoria, when he vanished.
After striking his head at around 2am local time on Saturday, he is said to have suddenly got up and run off into the surrounding bush.
Despite his friends scouring the area they were unable to find him.
Victoria Police said in a statement: “It’s believed Aslan may be disorientated and become lost in the bush.”
They have issued a picture taken a short time before he went missing in the hope someone may recognise him.
He is described as medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and hoodie and may have blood on his forehead.
The Foreign Office said in a statement: “Our staff are seeking further information following the disappearance of a British man near Princetown, Australia and are in contact with the Australian police.”
