Harry and Meghan get standing ovation at one of their final royal engagements

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received a standing ovation and long applause at the Royal Albert Hall as they embarked on their final engagements as senior royals.
The couple received the warm welcome as they took their seats in the royal box on Saturday evening to watch the Mountbatten Festival of Music.
Harry, who was wearing his Royal Marines officer’s mess jacket, was attending in his role as Captain General of the corps.
His wife, Meghan, was wearing a floor-length red dress by London-based fashion label Safiyaa.
The annual festival showcases musicians, composers and conductors of the Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, and is this year marking the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the 80th anniversary of the formation of Britain’s Commandos.
It will also be one of the final events for the duke and duchess as senior members of the Royal Family, before they step back on 31 March.
Earlier in the week, the couple attended the Endeavour Fund Awards, which recognises the achievements of wounded, sick and injured service men and women.
Harry also opened the Silverstone Experience in Northampton alongside Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, while Meghan made a surprise visit to the National Theatre and a school in east London.
The couple’s final engagement is scheduled for Monday, where they will join the entire Royal Family for a service at Westminster Abbey to mark Commonwealth Day.
Proceeds from Saturday night’s festival will go to the Royal Marines Association and the CLIC Sargent, which is a cancer charity for children and young people.
