An Australian reality star has been charged with holding a Tinder date against his will and extorting money from him in an alleged “honey trap” plot.

TV star Suzi Taylor, 49, arranged to meet the 33-year-old victim through the dating app.
The pair met at a home in New Farm, Queensland, just after midnight. Police say a short time later, Taylor demanded money from the man.
When he refused, another man allegedly entered the room and assaulted the victim and held him against his will.
Queensland Police claim Taylor also assaulted her Tinder date.
They say the pair then forced him to make an online transaction, stole his bank card and withdrew money.
Police did not specify how much money was taken.
“Honey trapping” is the practice of luring in an unsuspecting love interest to take advantage of them.
Taylor and her 22-year-old suspected accomplice have been charged with one count each of extortion with intent to gain benefit with threat of detriment, deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm and possessing dangerous drugs.
The suspects appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Taylor was refused bail.
The 49-year-old appeared on long-running home renovation show The Block, winning A$349,000 (£185,000) with her partner on the programme.
