Man, 20, shot dead in Birmingham as police hunt killer

A murder investigation has begun after a 20-year-old man was shot dead in Birmingham, police have said.
It happened in Goosemoore Lane, Erdington just before 7.30pm on Thursday.
The area remains shut while police investigate and patrols have been stepped up in an attempt to reassure the community.
The victim’s family has been informed and so far, no one has been arrested.
