Gazza calls Snoop Dogg an ugly t*** in row over anti-alcohol abuse Instagram post

Paul Gascoigne has described Snoop Dogg as an ugly t**t after the US rapper posted pictures showing what alcohol had allegedly done to the footballer’s appearance.
Snoop Dogg has been accused of bullying after uploading pictures of both him and Gazza to illustrate the negative effects of alcohol compared to cannabis.
He chose images showing him and the ex-England midfielder at the ages of 20 and 47, in an apparent attempt to argue that “marijuana abuse” was safer than addiction to alcohol.
Initially, Gascoigne did not hit back, merely tweeting from holiday in Benidorm: “Wow thanks so much re your tweets loved them. As you can see a few tears. But honestly I love you’s (sic) guys be good enjoy the rest of the day huge hugs from GAZZA.”
But on Friday he went further, tweeting an image of a dog edited to look like Snoop Dogg with two plaits and a chain around its neck.
Gascoigne wrote: “Morning Snoop Dog. Get your lazy a**e out of bed it’s walkies time woof woof you ugly t**t LOVE GAZZA xxx.
Earlier, Gascoigne had tweeted his manager, saying: “Just when U thought it was safe2get out of the water f***ing snoop dog turns up. FFS SHANE, what’s he snooping about for, from GAZZA x.”
Reacting to the row, one Twitter user said it “feels great to be alive knowing I was here to witness Gazza beefing with Snoop Dog”.
Another said Gazza had “won Twitter for the day”.
Snoop Dogg was widely called out after posting the comparison images on Instagram.
Piers Morgan tweeted: “This is nasty. Shame on you Snoop Dogg.”
Another social media user said they had “lost all respect for Snoop”, while a third said it was “bullying and unacceptable”.
Gascoigne, 52, has repeatedly struggled with alcoholism and mental health issues over the years.
Snoop Dogg – who recently branched out into the world of food by releasing his first cookbook – has famously been an advocate for cannabis for years and has previously claimed he once smoked 81 blunts in a single day.
The hip hop star and recent addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame also has a commercial partnership with US cannabis company Canopy and believes the drug should be completely legal for recreational use.
Cannabis is legal for recreational use in 10 states across the United States, and is illegal in dozens of other countries around the world – including the UK.
The drug was legalised for medicinal purposes on prescription in the UK last year, but the Home Office has said the government has “no plans to decriminalise recreational cannabis” despite calls for a review into the law.
